The educational programs of the Faculty of Economics in the areas of Bachelor's and Master's degree 080100 Economics, Bachelor's degree 080200 Management have successfully passed professional and public accreditation by the Independent Agency for Quality Control of Education and Career Development (ACCORC).

AKKORK is an independent professional agency in the field of consulting, expertise, accreditation and certification of educational institutions.

ACCORD's independence and objectivity, as well as the competence of its specialists, are confirmed by accreditations in leading international accreditation networks in the field of education and the positive experience of 6 years of activity.

Today, AKKORK is an affiliated member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

Along with this, AKKORK is a full member of the leading international accreditation networks in the field of education.:

The main purpose of an external independent assessment of the quality of basic educational programs is to establish the degree to which the quality of graduates who have completed vocational education programs at PetrSU meets the criteria and professional requirements of the regional and federal labor market.

Graduates of the faculty work as economists, accountants, financiers and managers in enterprises of all forms of ownership, in banks, in commercial and government structures, as well as teachers at universities and technical schools.

The Faculty of Economics is one of the youngest at the university. It consists of departments:

Accounting, business analysis and auditing
Theoretical Economics and Public and Municipal Administration
Economic theory and Finance
Management
Economics and Production Management
The faculty conducts training in bachelor's, master's, specialist and postgraduate programs.

Provides admission in the following bachelor's degree areas:

080100. 62 "Economics". Finance and Credit profile

080200. 62 "Management". Financial Management profile

Master's degree 080100.68 "Economics", profile "Financial Economics". Graduates' qualification is a Master's degree in Economics.

The master's program is led by Professor Akulov V.B. Training and graduation are carried out by three departments of the faculty: economic theory and Finance, management, accounting, economic analysis and audit.

The faculty has a postgraduate degree in the specialty 08.00.01 – Economic Theory
